I think someone should come up with a Mad Libs with political complaints. Depending on what party is in power you can invariably predict the outrage. During the presidency of George W. Bush, you had Democrats championing outrage, protests and town hall insurrections toward the war in Iraq. Republicans say these displays was unpatriotic and disrespectful. Now, you have President Barack Obama and Republicans are championing outrage, protests and town hall insurrectionss toward health care reform. Democrats say these displays are unpatriotic and disrespectful.
Just another reason why my hope is not in politicians.

I’m not sure when it happened, but interest in soccer has never been higher by Americans. Amazingly, it’s not even a World Cup year. I can’t recall when I first heard someone seriously broach the topic, but I’ve heard from more than a handful of people that they want Mayor Jim Suttle to be recalled. Suttle hasn’t instilled confidence in the people of Omaha say the least. Just another reminder this past mayoral election was all about Hal Daub.
