Today, Andre Sims, Tim Perry and I watched A Time For Burning. It is a 1966 Academy Award nominated documentary film detailing a white Lutheran pastor attempting to integrate his church here in Omaha, NE. An amazing documentary which sparked a non-stop discussion amongst us for about an hour. We would have kept talking, but we all have other projects that we had to get to.

It’s been great talking and working with Andre and Tim on the various projects we’re involved with the upcoming series Kingdom Colors, which covers racial reconciliation.

(Seriously…I know this but in case you don’t, Andre and Tim are awesome. Get to know them.)

I came across this video which looks back on A Time For Burning. It’s twenty-six minutes long, but worth viewing if you have time. Really, you should rent A Time For Burning sometime and watch it.
