Driving up Underwood Street, as I enter Dundee, and it is littered with tree limbs along the sides. When you grow up you realize the environment from your childhood is not as big as you once thought, but driving around Dundee just now it seems even smaller and sparser because of the trees being robbed of so much of their magnificence.
Just talked to the owners of Amsterdam and they just got power back on Tuesday, four days after the storm. Most of the other businesses in Dundee got it back earlier. If you get a chance, swing by Amsterdam for a meal. Great food, great people who run it.
