(Guest blogger, Jana Murphy)
Since these pictures were taken on March 12, this littlest Murphy boy has continued to make his presence known. All measurements showed a healthy baby due late Spring, with the due date given as June 6. Every week it seems he is moving more and more, not in just pokes or kicks but stretches and turns. Sometimes I can count up to 18 movements in 2 minute’s time. The beginning of March brought the first hiccups and they come once if not twice a day now. They can be a bit bothersome when they last longer then few minutes, but it is still fun to know what’s going on inside. During the few beautiful and warm days that we have had in the last few weeks, we have spent some fun times out of doors taking walks, planting daffodils, trimming bushes and dreaming about fresh produce in the small garden area out back.
Many people have inquired after how I am feeling this time around, especially since I had a lot of lower back and hip pain in the third trimester with Liam. It has been so much better. I have been seeing a chiropractor since last May and the change has been evident. Unfortunately, I don’t think that it is possible to go through a pregnancy without any aches and pains, but I don’t have too much to complain about. Just give me a scoop of peanut butter and I will be happy! Robert and I are definitely looking forward to when this littlest man will decide to come out so we can meet him. Until then…….
